One of the beauties of Nessebar (Bulgaria), apart from being an ancient city and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea, is that it is surrounded by beautiful large sunflower fileds in summer. A true paradise for photographers. I've always wanted to make a photosession in sunflower fields, but I never had a chance to do that. Luckily for me, that chance finally came, and overall it was a great experience.
If you ever plan to make a photosession in sunflower fields, you should know the following:
1) Do the shoting either at sunrise, or at sunset. We started around 8am, much later than I initialy planned, the sun was getting higher, making it very difficult for the children to look into the camera.
2) The fields are very muddy, so you should wear walking shoes or boots, not flip-flops like me.
3) Take zoom lens with you. These photos are made with Canon 85mm f/1.8 (on Canon 5D Mark iii).
Hope you'll enjoy the photos!
NOTE: I'm in Nessebar all through August 2018, so if you want to have a family photosession, please don't hesitate do contact me.
